There are many, many books here that you can read online without spending a dime! Or you can download them for free in PDF format!
Ellen G. White is the author of most of these books and she cites Bible verses VERY often throughout her writings!
I would suggest the following books in this order to begin with:
Steps To Christ, Desire Of Ages, Great Controversy (1888 edition), Acts Of The Apostles, Patriarchs And Prophets, Prophets And Kings, Spiritual Gifts, volumes 1 to 4, Christ’s Object Lessons, Last Day Events, and Ministry Of Healing. As you are reading, try to think of Bible verses that would disprove the points that Ellen G. White is making in what she has written! This is a fun exercise and I’m quite certain that you won’t be able to refute her ideas!
You initially may think you know better than Ellen White, but upon closer examination I think you will eventually find out that some of your long held beliefs just can’t be logically supported, even by using only the Bible alone! Hope you have fun in your studies!
Don’t forget to let the God’s Word determine its own meaning. There are many places where a particular phrase will be defined to have a certain meaning in one reference and once you find this “definition” then the rest of the verses on this same subject will make much more sense!
